Beginner

Goal: 0:20

Summary: Being only 5 floors and weak enemies, your sword beam will be able to dispatch most enemies. Do your best not to get hit on floors 1-3 where it matters.

Floor 1: Mini-moldorm (8) Regular sword slashes and sword beams.

Floor 2: Sand Crab (10) Regular sword slashes and sword beams.

Floor 3: Octorok (8) Regular sword slashes and sword beams.

Floor 4: Stalfos (8) Pray that the 4 stalfos closest to you start chasing you, then lure them to the north end of the room to aggro the last 4 (get hit if you have to, sword beams don't matter anymore). Tornado Rod all 8 and slash them.

Floor 5: Moldorm (Boss) A single spin attack will kill Moldorm.

Intermediate

Goal: 1:30

Summary: 15 floors of enemies that stand no chance against the Master Sword Lv3.

Floor 1: Blue Popo (1), Red Popo (8) Regular sword slashes, getting multikills when possible.

Floor 2: Chasupa (8) Walk up to the middle 2 and slash once to kill them, and the same for the 2 above them. The rest should aggro and come to you; slash away.

Floor 3: Crow (6) Stand in the middle and wait for all 6 to charge. Slash away.

Floor 4: Terrorpin (11) Slowly move toward the middle (getting hit if you have to) and Tornado Rod all 11 when they group up. Slash away.

Floor 5: Green Sword Soldier (8) Walk up to the middle 2 and slash once to kill them, and the same for the 2 above them. The rest will come to you; slash away.

Floor 6: Blue Hardhat Beetle (7) Walk in between the large bumper in the middle and the enemies on a side of your choosing for the first slash. Kill 2 at a time whenever possible.

Floor 7: Blue Bow Soldier (6) Walk up-right to kill the lone archer after they reposition. Walk up and kill the 2 above you with one slash, then another slash to kill the 3rd just above them. Head left, mindful of arrow trajectory, to kill the final 2 with one slash.

Floor 8: Snap Dragon (8) Kill the left snap dragon closest to you. With one slash per 2, kill the 2 to the up-right, then up-left, then up-right. Kill the lone snap dragon at the door to finish.

Floor 9: Helmasaur (6) Stand in the middle and wait for them to charge. When they cross the white square border of where you're standing, use Tornado Rod. Move behind them in a counter-clockwise rotation, slashing as you pass them while facing in the opposite direction they are. The end of your slash attack should be killing them, 1 or 2 at a time.

Floor 10: Gibdo (8) Walk up to aggro all 8, then use regular sword slashes.

Floor 11: Snow Hinox (4) Walk up to the middle 2 and slash once, then pick a side and time slashes to kill them 1 (or possibly 2) at a time, moving in a circle.

Floor 12: Snow Zirro (6) Stand still and use the fire rod once to kill off 2. Move up slightly and fire rod again to kill another 2. Repeat for the last 2.

Floor 13: Ice Gimos (7) Stand in the middle and charge a Fire Rod shot facing up. When they wake, release to kill the top gimos. Wait a second to lure the rest towards the middle, then walk to the door and fire another shot facing down to kill the remaining 6.

Floor 14: Green Sword Soldier (1), Grey Ball & Chain Soldier (1) Walk up to the ball & chain, timing a slash to kill both knights before slashing twice to kill the ball & chain itself.

Floor 15: Spear Moblin (5), Shield Moblin (5) Walk up to the wall of enemies and Tornado Rod. Slash away, prioritizing the shield moblins.

Advanced (Rental Items/No Great Spin)

Goal: 7:00

Summary: During the first several floors it's important to keep your sword beam. Sword beam will not be needed for much by floor 30, so feel free to be reckless within your limits.

Floor 1: Blob (21) Charge a spin attack immediately; the sword beam will kill the first blob. When the next 8 pop up, try and get at least 3 with it. Focus the 5 remaining blobs of that wave before dispatching the rest with slashes and beams.

Floor 2: Rat (12), Rope (12) Regular sword slashes and sword beams. I would advise charging a spin attack as the ropes are dropping to kill a corner of 3 immediately.

Floor 3: Keese (7) Regular sword slashes and sword beams.

Floor 4: Green Sword Soldier (10) Regular sword slashes and sword beams.

Floor 5: Armos (9) Slash the middle armos to wake the other 8. Take out the rest 2 at a time, starting with the bottom 4.

Floor 6: Poe (4), Hyu (8) Regular sword slashes and sword beams for the poes. As the last poe dies, charge a spin attack to get as many hyus as possible. Kill the rest with sword slashes if they're near the middle, or spin attacks if they're near the edge.

Floor 7: Rupee Like (11) Aggro the left half of the room and kill them, then do the same for the right side.

Floor 8: Blue Tektite (5), Red Tektite (5) Walk to the bottom left 2 tektites and slash both red and blue. Every slash after that should be hitting the red tektite that jumps back from subsequent hits (or at least most hits). Just slash until the stragglers are dead.

Floor 9: Red Sword Soldier (4), Red Spear Soldier (4) Walk up and use Tornado Rod to get the sword soldiers and whatever spear soldiers that get caught. Slash the stunned enemies and dispatch the stragglers.

Floor 10: 5 recovery hearts Heal to full.

Floor 11: Red Kodongo (7), Green Kodongo (4) Regular sword slashes and sword beams.

Floor 12: Slarok (8) Regular sword slashes and sword beams.

Floor 13: Karat Crab (8), Ku (12) Regular sword slashes and sword beams.

Floor 14: Pengator (6) Kill the middle 2 pengators, then take out the others one side at a time.

Floor 15: Green Bari (6), Red Bari (6) Slash as many of the baris you can closest to you before they electrify. The red biris that spawn have a very short electrify time at first, so you can kill those while witing for the other baris to be vunerable again. You should be able to kill the rest before the second electrify period, then dispatch the biris a moment later.

Floor 16: Green Goriya (5), Red Goriya (3) Walk down-left into the pit and then hold up-right until you respawn. When you respawn use the tornado rod to stun the 3 red goriyas. Knock them off the ledge, then slash the remaining green goriyas.

Floor 17: Blue Taros (8) Slash the 2 closest to you to push them back, then walk up to the group and Tornado Rod. Slash away.

Floor 18: Big Pengator (2) Regular sword slashes, kill one before starting the other.

Floor 19: Gigabari (1) Regular sword slashes. Use the Fire Rod when it electrifies, then back to slashing. When it splits into biris, use the Fire Rod once to open a space in the middle of the group to unleash slashes from.

Floor 20: 3 recovery hearts Heal to full.

Floor 21: Dacto (8) Regular sword slashes and sword beams.

Floor 22: Dark Rat (10), Skullrope (10) Regular sword slashes and sword beams. Charge a spin attack in the middle of the room as the skullropes drop, then dispatch the rest with sword slashes and sword beams.

Floor 23: Vulture (7) Stay put and use sword beams to take out the far 5 vultures (6 if you get one of the ones closest to you quick enough). Wait for the last vulture or two to attack before slashing away.

Floor 24: Blue Popo (1), Fire Wizzrobe (4) Regular sword slashes and sword beams.

Floor 25: Purple mini-moldorm (8) Mash sword to kill the first 2, then dispatch the rest with sword slashes and sword beams.

Floor 26: Green Eyegore (2), Blue Eyegore (2), Red Eyegore (2) Charge a spin attack to kill the green and blue eyegores, as well as damage the red ones. Two slashes per eyegore left to kill them.

Floor 27: Blue Sword Soldier (4), Blue Bow Soldier (4) Walk up, slashing the soldiers 2 at a time until you're at the door with 6 kills. The bow soldiers to the side will knock each other off the edge with their shots.

Floor 28: Gold Ball & Chain Soldier (1), Red Spear Soldier (4) Slash the gold ball & chain soldier 4 times to kill him, then slash away at the other soldiers.

Floor 29: Green Lynel (3) When the camera pans to show you the floor, take note of where the lynels are facing. Go for the lynel closest to you that is out of sight of the others and slash it off the edge. If you are still undetected, knocking the others off the edge should be easy. If not, you can try tanking the fire attacks to start pushing them back or wait it out.

Floor 30: 1 recovery heart Dash to pick up the heart on the way to the door.

Floor 31: Red Hardhat Beetle (7), Buzz Blob (4) Run to the middle and use Tornado Rod to catch most of the enemies. Slash up to kill 2 of the buzz blobs and a few beetles, then slash carefully at the remaining beetles. Use the Fire Rod to dispatch the remaining buzz blobs.

Floor 32: Light Ghini (6), Dark Ghini (6) Equip the Lamp over Tornado Rod for this room. Hunt down all ghinis with spin attacks.

Floor 33: Freezor (4) Head up until you aggro all freezors. Walk back down a bit and use diagonal Fire Rod shots to take out 2 at a time.

Floor 34: Chasupa (7), Sluggula (4) Charge a spin attack, walk up a bit and release before you get hit by anything. Take out the rest of the chasupas with sword slashes, and spin attack the remaining sluggulas if they didnt't get caught in your slashing flurry.

Floor 35: Blue Zazak (8) 1 recovery heart Stand in the middle and charge a spin attack. When all 8 get in range, release and charge another. Release again when they're in range to kill all 8.

Floor 36: Ropa (4), Snow Zirro (4) Slash once, then use the fire rod. Walk up to the middle, getting in a couple more slashes to kill 2 of the ropas and damage the other 2 (fire rod shot should have killed 2 zirros). Slash to kill the remaining ropas, getting in a Fire Rod shot to kill the remaining zirros when the timing is right.

Floor 37: Red Eyegore (8) Charge a spin attack facing south to hit all 8 eyegores, then slash away to kill them.

Floor 38: Ice Wizzrobe (4) Regular sword slashes.

Floor 39: Red Ball & Chain Soldier (1) Take 3-4 slashes to push him off the edge near the north door.

Floor 40: Recovery fairy Take the fairy if wanted; dash otherwise.

Floor 41: Red Taros (6), Zirro (4) Equip the Tornado Rod back over the Lamp. Run to the middle and Tornado Rod, then kill all the taroses. Slash the zirros when they drop down to attack.

Floor 42: Stalfos (11) Lure as many stalfos possible into a Tornado Rod and kill them. Kill or send the remaining stalfoses over the edge.

Floor 43: Grey Bari (4), Gold Bari (3) Kill the 4 grey baris right away (if possible), then use a combination of the Fire Rod and sword slashes to kill the gold baris (depending on if they're electrified or not).

Floor 44: Big Ice Gimos (1) Mash Fire Rod to get a shot off, then walk up to the door.

Floor 45: Shield Moblin (5), Bomb Soldier (4) Slash the shield moblin closest to you, then tornado rod the rest. Slash the shield moblins that don't get killed by the bombs, then dispatch the soldiers bottom-up with slashes.

Floor 46: Red Zazak (8) Run to either side of the room in the middle and charge a spin attack facing the wall furthest from you. Kite as many zazaks as possible into your first spin, then try and charge a second. If you don't have the room or time anymore, regular slashes will suffice.

Floor 47: Gimos (3), Fire Gimos (3), Ice Gimos (3) Stand still and wait for the medusas to fire a shot, then move up to slash down the three gimos. Slash down the fire gimos as soon as they wake. When you get to the ice gimos, charge a spin attack first before cutting them down.

Floor 48: Lorule Spear Soldier (3), Lorule Bow Soldier (3) Hold right and charge a spin attack as soon as possible. Release when the soldiers get close to kill 2 or 3 of them. Tornado Rod and slash down the rest.

Floor 49: Red Lynel (3) Like floor 29, be mindful of where the lynels are facing. Slash all of them off the edge, going for the lynels that are out of sight of the others.

Floor 50: Purple Moldorm (Boss) Three spin attacks will end the fight.

Advanced (Nice Items/Great Spin)

Goal: 5:00

Summary: Great Spin makes many floors of the tower quite trivial. If you got through the previous advanced course well enough this should be relaxing in comparison.

Floor 1: Blob (21) Charge a spin attack immediately; the sword beam will kill the first blob. When the next 8 pop up, great spin will kill all 8 (and maybe a few more). Great spin and sword beam the stragglers.

Floor 2: Rat (12), Rope (12) Sword beams and great spin. Only sword beam the first few rats to clear a path for great spin. Sword beam the rope stragglers.

Floor 3: Keese (7) Walk up a bit then Tornado Rod to kill all the keese. If RNG decides a keese flys away, use sword beam.

Floor 4: Green Sword Soldier (10) Regular sword slashes and sword beams.

Floor 5: Armos (9) Slash the middle armos to wake the other 8. Great spin all of them.

Floor 6: Poe (4), Hyu (8) Regular sword slashes and sword beams for the poes. If you do still have sword beam, kill the last poe with it to already have a great spin charging, so that you can kill all the hyus without any of them slipping away.

Floor 7: Rupee Like (11) Aggro the left half of the room and kill them, then do the same for the right side.

Floor 8: Blue Tektite (5), Red Tektite (5) Face down to charge a great spin and walk up past the tektites before releasing to kill all of them.

Floor 9: Red Sword Soldier (4), Red Spear Soldier (4) Great spin right away; slash any stragglers.

Floor 10: 5 recovery hearts Heal to full.

Floor 11: Red Kodongo (7), Green Kodongo (4) Charge a great spin and walk up a bit before releasing. Do another great spin to kill the remaining kodongos.

Floor 12: Slarok (8) Sword beams and great spins.

Floor 13: Karat Crab (8), Ku (12) Regular sword slashes and sword beams.

Floor 14: Pengator (6) Kill the middle 2 pengators, then charge a great spin to kill the last 4 as they slide back up.

Floor 15: Green Bari (6), Red Bari (6) Great spin a couple times to kill most of the baris/biris, then Fire Rod the stragglers if there's only a few.

Floor 16: Green Goriya (5), Red Goriya (3) Walk down-left into the pit and then hold up-right until you respawn. When you respawn use the tornado rod to stun the 3 red goriyas. Knock them off the ledge, then slash the remaining green goriyas.

Floor 17: Blue Taros (8) Slash the 2 closest to you to push them back, then walk up to the group and Tornado Rod. Slash away.

Floor 18: Big Pengator (2) Stand still and charge a great spin. Release when charged, holding up-right to counter sliding. Charge another and walk toward the middle to hit both pengators again (holding up to assist sliding recoil), killing them.

Floor 19: Gigabari (1) Stand still and use 2 great spins. Fire Rod into the biri group to open a space to unleash a final great spin.

Floor 20: 3 recovery hearts Heal to full.

Floor 21: Dacto (8) Sword beams and great spin.

Floor 22: Dark Rat (10), Skullrope (10) Sword beams and great spin. Charge a great spin in the middle of the room as the skullropes drop, killing them all.

Floor 23: Vulture (7) Mash Tornado Rod to kill the 2 closest to you. Stay put and use sword beams to take out the remaining far 5 vultures.

Floor 24: Blue Popo (1), Fire Wizzrobe (4) Sword beam the popo to charge a great spin. Sword beam any straggler wizzrobes.

Floor 25: Purple mini-moldorm (8) Mash sword to kill the first 2, then dispatch the rest with sword slashes and sword beams.

Floor 26: Green Eyegore (2), Blue Eyegore (2), Red Eyegore (2) Great spin.

Floor 27: Blue Sword Soldier (4), Blue Bow Soldier (4) Walk up, slashing the soldiers 2 at a time until you're at the door with 6 kills. The bow soldiers to the side will knock each other off the edge with their shots.

Floor 28: Gold Ball & Chain Soldier (1), Red Spear Soldier (4) Slash the gold ball & chain soldier 4 times to kill him, then great spin the other soldiers.

Floor 39: Red Ball & Chain Soldier (1) Take 3-4 slashes to push him off the edge near the north door.

Floor 40: Recovery fairy Take the fairy if wanted; dash otherwise.

Floor 41: Red Taros (6), Zirro (4) Equip the Tornado Rod back over the Lamp. Run to the middle and Tornado Rod, then kill all the taroses. Tornado Rod the remaining zirros.

Floor 42: Stalfos (11) Tornado Rod right away and kill what you stun. Great spin the rest

Floor 43: Grey Bari (4), Gold Bari (3) Great spins.

Floor 44: Big Ice Gimos (1) Mash Fire Rod to get a shot off, then walk up to the door.

Floor 45: Shield Moblin (5), Bomb Soldier (4) Slash the shield moblin closest to you, then tornado rod the rest. Slash the shield moblins that don't get killed by the bombs, then dispatch the soldiers with a great spin.

Floor 46: Red Zazak (8) Great spin.

Floor 47: Gimos (3), Fire Gimos (3), Ice Gimos (3) Stand still and wait for the medusas to fire a shot, then move up to slash down the three gimos. Great spin the fire gimos as soon as they wake. Great spin the ice gimos too.
