Triple Jump/Infinite Height

Triple Jump

The triple jump is a technique used to gain much more height than intended by abusing the menu mechanics on Link's physical state.

By using the ability menu in combination with the shield menu you are able to cancel out a jumpslash animation in order to put in another input.

For the triple jump you perform the following inputs:

1. Forward hop
2. Press Y to jumpslash
3. Open the ability menu
4. Quickly following letting go of L open the shield menu with D-Pad left
5. Switch shield
6. Shield Jump

You should successfully jump out of the jumpslash performing three jumps total.

Infinite Height

The infinite height glitch works roughly the same way but rather than shield jumping you perform other movements in order to chain jumpslashes which can be used for both distance and height.

In order to do this glitch perform the following inputs (Disclaimer: this is more difficult and precise than the triple jump):

1. Forward hop
2. Press Y to jumpslash
3. Open the ability menu
4. Quickly following letting go of L open the shield menu with D-Pad left
5. Switch shield
6. Tap ZR to draw bow following the closing of the menu
7. Repeat steps 2-6 infinitely
