There are 8 shrines in the Central Hyrule region.
This is a Minor Test of Strength Shrine.
It is possible to skip all the puzzles of this shrine by doing a Shield Bomb Jump at the start. Once you make it on top of the ceiling, you can run all the way to the end.
This shrine contains a chest with an Edge of Duality, a very useful weapon for speedruns. It is possible to get up on the wall doing the previous method, drop down, grab the chest and get back up. The fastest way to get back up is by doing a Cryonis Shield Jump in the small river across the first hallway and running to the end, the jump is a bit precise though.
An easier but slightly slower way of finishing the shrine while grabbing the Edge of Duality is using a metallic weapon and Magnesis to open the last set of big doors.

This is a Modest Test of Strength Shrine.

The majority of the puzzle can be skipped by exploiting the small ledges and the rotation of the structure.
It is also possible to skip directly to the end without moving the structure even once.
This is a Major Test of Strength Shrine.
It is possible to skip constructing a bridge to reach the ending of this shrine.
Use Magnesis to quickly place the bottom metal cube in the desired position, stasis it and hit it three times with a two-handed weapon, shoot an arrow and quickly climb the cube. Either wait for the stasis timer to finish or manually activate it to get to the monk.
Put a round and a cube bomb next to each other and place the metal cube on top of them then climb it. The blast of the bombs will shoot the cube upwards making it possible to glide to the end. This method is slightly slower than using stasis.
Pull out a metal box with Magnesis and climb on top of it. Drop two or more Octo Balloons on it and once it reaches enough height, jump and glide to the end.
