Chest Storage and Hookshot

Instead of having to play hide and seek on Windfall and collect 21 Joy Pendants to obtain the Cabana Deed, you can simply clip inside the Cabana early to go forth with the Triforce collecting sequence. To do so, the best method is to use Chest Storage. Perform storage, and get chest storage off of a chest (you can use text storage off of KoRL first in order to prevent your screen from turning black. Click here for more information). Now run over to the house and press yourself against the left side of the door. Pull out the Hookshot and aim in the bottom left section of the door. Aiming can be a bit spastic, so aim slowly and carefully until the yellow icon appears. You should now be able to hookshot the tree which will pull you right into the loading zone.

Door Cancel

By obtaining the door cancel glitch (on Windfall for example) and either sail or superswim to Private Oasis, you can skip the cabana deed very easily. You can use jumpslashes to get up the ledges on the island, and then you can simply go through the door and hit the loading zone of the cabana.

Bomb Push Clip

It is possible to clip through the seam left of the door frame using a bomb push clip in order to enter the Cabana without the Cabana Deed. Once the bomb push is successful, you can either jumpslash or leaf into the loading zone behind the door. There are multiple setups for this trick.

Setup 1

This setup works regardless if you have the delivery bag or not. Having the delivery bag makes the pedestals appear on Private Oasis.

  • Get the angle from the ledge.
  • Sidehop into the corner.
  • Backflip. Your position should be X = 120400.906250 and Z = 117678.695313
  • C-up and turn the camera and pause buffer until you get angle 49655.
  • Sidehop left. Your position should be X = 120373.0703125 and Z = 117958.390625
  • C-up and turn the camera. Angle should be 5698 (any angle between 5696 and 5711 works).
  • Pull bomb and drop it on animation frame 39.

Setup 2

For this setup, your position should be X =120366.6796875 and Z = 117964.7734375. Get an angle between 5408 and 5423. Pull a bomb and drop it on animation frame 17 to clip into the seam.

L-Slide Clip

RTA-Viable Method

By using an L-Slide clip or buckets to clip into the stairs under the Cabana, you are able to get to a position where you can hookshot the mailbox from across the Cabana. Using a frame perfect bomb boost from a L-Slide clip allows you to skip the Cabana Deed.

To get under the cabana to begin with, you could perform a first L-Slide Clip (usually using Iron Boots), but alternatively you can also perform the clip in the following video. You need to hold up on the control stick on the correct frame for it to work.

Tingle Balloon Superswim

These last methods are strategies specifically for TAS. It is possible to skip the cabana deed if you have a lot of speed on the island in a couple ways. Using a Balloon Swim, it is possible to get inside the island before the door has time to load. Another possibility is to balloon swim to the roof of the villa, and clip through the slope with speed as seen below.
