Triforce Gate Positioning

The positions that each player stands on the Triforce gate will determine where they spawn in the next map or after certain cutscenes ends.

(todo: video of a basic example of this)

Notable Triforce gate stage transitions

The following list consists of stages either where players are spawned further apart from each other than usual, or where spawn positioning is crucial to catching a cycle or performing a specific strategy.

(todo: add example images for each stage)

1-2 Buzz Blob Cave

Lobby → 1

1-4 Forest Temple

3 → 4

2-2 Abyss of Agony

3 → 4

2-3 Cove of Transition

Lobby → 1

3-1 Blazing Trail

3 → 4

Positioning in single player is important to keep in mind to save a cycle on the rising/lowering lava.

3-3 Den of Flames

3 → 4

3-4 Fire Temple

2 → 3

In single player, knowing where each doppel spawns will make catching the first lava pillar cycle easier.

3 → 4

4-4 Ice Temple

1 → 2

For some reason upon triggering the enemy wave cutscene, each player will be relocated to specific spots in a cluster based on the Triforce positioning in stage 1.

5-3 Training Ground

3 → 4

The spawn positions here are important to catching the first platform cycle at the southwest.

5-4 The Lady's Lair

3 → 4

This positioning will determine where each player is positioned at the start of each phase of the battle.
Position the player holding the Gripshot on the left or right for the transition to stage 4. After the boss intro cutscene, the player will be positioned to be able to grab a bomb and toss it into the Margoma-like quickly enough. This prevents having to deal with luck-based movement from the Margoma-like on the first cycle.

6-1 Infinity Dunes

3 → 4

6-3 Gibdo Mausoleum

2 → 3

For single player, position green Link to spawn in the middle to make catching the platform cycle at the end slightly easier.

7-1 Illusory Mansion

Red → left | Green → center | Blue → right
