Description

In single player, using most items on the same frame as releasing the touch screen from selecting a doppel will skip the travel time of the spirit orb going from one doppel to the other. This is named Instant Doppel Swap (IDS).

This technique does not work with the Water Rod or Bombs.

Home buffer method

Press down on a doppel panel, enter the 3DS home menu while the panel was still held, exit the menu, and hold Y during the transition to perform this tech consistently.
