When passing through Faron Woods after getting the Master Sword it's faster to transform into human and use the lantern to clear a path through the mist instead of using Midna jumps. Because it's not in the correct state however, the mist doesn't visually change so you have to be familiar with the movement to get through. Note that pulling out the lantern anywhere in this area between clearing the twilight and beating Forest Temple will start the monkey escort sequence, which is usually best to avoid outside of glitchless speedruns.
An easy and safe, but still fast, way to get through uses one lantern swing on the bridge and three swings in the mist.
This can be remembered as: Swing, jump then 2 rolls, swing, 3 rolls, swing, 3 rolls, swing
With good movement it's possible to get through with only two swings of the lantern while in the mist
This can be remembered as: Swing, jump, 2 rolls then walk 3 steps, swing, 3 rolls, swing, 3 rolls

To gain a better understanding of how the purple mist works, it can be beneficial to load a post-twilight save on nintendont to practice with non-glitched visuals: example here
If you void out and end up back at the start, put lantern away before running to the edge of the bridge to try again as this resets the mist: example here
During or after Faron Twilight, it is possible to escape the Faron Woods with an LJA. Full details can be found on the Faron Escape page.
It is possible to skip the mailman trigger that is on the way to Eldin Twilight. To do this, stand between the two white spots shown in the video (you do not need to target them, that is just to show where they are), then throw the boomerang ahead and LJA when the boomerang is OoB. This LJA works because the boomerang is over a void OoB. The video below demonstrates this with and without the trigger visible.
There are various ways to reach Lanayru Province early by clipping through the gate that blocks access. A full list can be found here.
Instead of lining up Epona with the gate and bonking into it, it is possible to set her out of bounds by performing Map Glitch and come back later after finishing Eldin Twilight to jump on her back out of bounds and bypass the gate. This takes the same amount of time as 1 bonk for Gate Clip if set up very quickly.
In the Ordon Day 2 storyline when Link is in the Faron Woods, there is a gate blocking access to Hyrule Field South. It's possible to clip through this gate with Epona; methods can be found on the Faron Escape page under the Epona Methods section.
By running Epona into a seam in South Hyrule Field at a precise speed and angle, it is possible to clip out of bounds. This is a very tough trick as it requires a precise animation frame of Epona's dash. The below video shows a setup that is far more consistent, though a setupless clip (much harder) saves 25s.
This is a faster, yet more difficult variation of the trick. This trick is speed precise (~57 units/second seems to be a good speed) as well as position and angle precise.
Seam clip with zero speed (done on GCN): here
After doing Epona Seam Clip, it's possible to reach the Kakariko Gorge messenger fight without having your save point updated:

It is also possible to clip back through this gate with Epona coming from Hyrule Field South. This is currently useful in the fastest Wii Any% route.
Alternative setup: here
The postman trigger is much smaller on Wii 1.0, so to avoid it, a jump attack will suffice. Perform a jump attack as human or wolf at two locations. See video for clear visuals.
It is possible to use a bomb boost to get out of bounds in the N. Faron warp portal area. Once up, you can use an LJA to get to a place where you can LJA to the Lost Woods entrance. This has been used in All Dungeons and 100% to get to Temple of Time quicker.
To do this, stand on the highest point of the root and line up the hearts on the HUD as shown in the video (1st heart in line with the other tree's right side). Now throw a bomb forward and instantly aim the boomerang as high as possible without looking right or left. Throw the boomerang and LJA instantly to get up on the slope. Mash B to continually jump attack to stay in place until the bomb explodes and pushes Link higher onto solid ground. Alternatively, wait a second before throwing the boomerang and LJAing so that the bomb won't take as long to explode once Link has reached the slope.
From here, roll around or backflip over the root of the tree (see next section below) and stand in the corner seen in the video. Then, aim roughly over a low point on the other side low point and LJA across. Roll forward 4 times and then roll left and slightly up; there is a slope here, so make sure Link gets up it in the first roll. (If unsure, enter first person to see where the limits of land and slope are.) Now use the map to aim at the Lost Woods entrance, throw the boomerang, and LJA as it is over the void on its way back to Link (see two sections below).
After bomb boosting as described above, it is possible to get past the tree root with a roll or backflip. This can be tricky, but the video below shows a method of lining up a backflip.
From where Link is standing before the LJA, the wall collision in front of him slopes outwards and upwards. Even though it is one-sided and Link can pass through it from this side, the sword hitbox will clank on the collision right as Link passes through it if it is in the early part of the animation where it is directed upwards, as shown in the video below. This clank can be avoided by passing through the wall collision later in the jump attack animation, which can be done by directing the LJA more leftward and/or LJAing from farther away from the edge of the out of bounds floor.
Using the same method as above, it is possible to LJA onto the wall and get out of bounds using only the boomerang. This is harder than the bomb boost method
Stand on the highest point of the root and align the hearts on the HUD the same as the bomb boost setup, then throw the boomerang as high as possible straight up. Mash B to stay on the ledge and keep mashing until Link stops slipping off of the slope. Holding left while mashing will prevent Link's sword from recoiling against the wall and knocking him down once he's up.
From here, follow the same path into Lost Woods as the bomb boost method above.
It is faster to stay human for the entirety of Grove 2 in All Dungeons. 100% transforms into wolf before entering Sacred Grove to collect the poe and back to human for Grove 2 Skip.
When entering Sacred Grove 2 as human:
The bomb chest shown contains 30 bombs and is only necessary for some categories.
More information about this trick can be found on the Text Displacement page.
Jumpstrike moon boots with maximum height (first frame) is enough to get Link out of bounds in the same spot where EMS is done. The angle is somewhat picky, but can be eyeballed using the wall texture; wrong angles will make Link slip back to the ground after the moon boots. Sidewalk briefly between landing and transforming to prevent Link from slipping as wolf, which doesn't make him fall but is slow.
This saves about 9 seconds over bomb boosting when staying human, but it is faster to transform if heading to the waterfall poe in the Sacred Grove.
Full details can be found at the Grove 2 Skip page.
See messenger fights tutorial video.
This requires maximum height Moon Boots (1 frame window). The angle is not precise. After Moon Boots, jump attack once, then roll over the weird railing collision. It is then possible to open the door from behind by target walking backwards and pressing A (see video with golden bug below).
The boomerang picks up the golden bug on its return to Link, so it usually won't pick up the bug unless Link has moved far enough towards the door, affecting the boomerang's trajectory. To this end, it is a good idea to target several times. Moving left after jump attacking makes it possible to aim low enough on the wall, which the bug is right behind.
This video goes over how to approach this poe and talks through how to react to enemy RNG through several demonstrations.
By getting Epona OoB in South Faron, it is possible to get to the shortcut load zone without Dominion Rod. Ride Epona around the Hyrule Field loading zone and use the OoB collision to get a little more height. Then ride Epona to the cliff by Coro's house and ride Epona off the cliff to get more height. Ride over to the shortcut and backflip into the loading zone.
Using a sidehop clip, wolf Link can clip through the gate, skipping the need to get the small key.
By getting Epona OoB in South Faron, it is possible to get Epona into areas not normally accessible. Ride Epona towards the mist area and use the minimap to position Epona in the spot where the mist area should be, then backflip off to void out. Run to the mist area, mount Epona, then ride her under the mist gate and backflip into the loading zone.
By getting Epona OoB in South Faron, it is possible to get Epona into areas not normally accessible. Ride Epona around the Hyrule Field loading zone and use the OoB collision to get a little more height. Then ride Epona to the cliff by Coro's house and ride Epona off the cliff to get more height (920-930 Y-pos). Ride over to where North Faron should be on the map and use the minimap to help position Epona near where the Forest Temple entrance should be. (Note: If Epona is positioned too close to the blue bokoblins, she'll get scared and clip in bounds.) Void out, then enter North Faron. Ride Epona OoB and behind the Forest Temple loading zone. Backflip in to enter.
There is a 100R chest in the Skull Kid 1 area that normally requires the spinner to access. However, it is possible to LJA over there, requiring only the boomerang. Stand on the very edge at the black spot on the ground at the top of the vines and then target above the arch. Line up the targets so they are slightly in the wall so that the LJA won't recoil.
Using a few precise LJAs, it is possible to skip the statue puzzle normally needed to open the path to the Master Sword. This is useful when using Fixed EMS.
Old 100% routes (with Fixed EMS) get the golden bug at Sacred Grove before Master Sword. There is a timesaver with clever targets to boomerang the bug through the wall without entering the walled off area. Once in the boomerang, the bug will come to Link during the master sword CS to be picked up afterwards.
